OK so through two periods against the abysmal New York Islanders Mike Ribiero has 1 goal and 4 assists. I would like it noted at this point in the conversation that I have the ability to edit old posts but journalistic integrity is important to me and I would never do that.
So the rumor circulating goes like this... Earlier today Sean Avery saw my blog about him. He laughed and when he went to show it to Ribiero I had updated with today's Breaking the Slump column featuring Mikey and the rest is history.
So do I have an updated opinion of Ribiero? Yea. If he's out there on waivers you might want to grab him. I'm not upgrading him to PLAY HIM status yet though because all of the problems mentioned today are still there (with the exception that he appears to be playing with Morrow now). Additionally... this is the only time they play the Islanders this season so another 5 point night is unlikely. Then again... they play Toronto in December...

Since I can't post bet updates, I must d them in the form of comments. Lame. Anyway, here's a quick bet update. It's 1:20pm on Sunday, October 26th. At this time, The worst team in the league is the Islanders with 4 points. Toronto is currently 16th in the league with 9 points. Granted some teams have a game or 2 in hand, but I'm just going by the current standings. Oh, and one more thing... all 3 team I originally wanted in the bet before Rich gave me the entire league... they're all below the Leafs in the standings.
